§ 2. Sanitary facilities, water supply, sewerage, garbage collections and utilities.

  • 2.1.

    Utilities: In every MH park, all utilities shall be properly identified so they shall be easily recognized. Each MH shall be required to connect with the utilities provided at each MH space. Utilities shall be installed underground.

    2.1.1.

    MH stand: Each MH stand shall be equipped with water and sanitary sewer connections.

    2.1.2.

    Electricity supply: Electric service panels shall be uniformly installed throughout the park.

    2.1.3.

    Water supply: Each MH park shall obtain water from a potable water supply. Water for drinking, cooking, laundry, and general sanitary uses for each individual MH shall be obtained only from faucets or other plumbing connections located within each MH.

    2.1.4.

    Sewage disposal: Each MH park shall be provided with an adequate sewage disposal system, either by connection to a public sewer system or a septic tank system.

    Garbage disposal: All garbage and refuse in each mobile home park shall be stored in suitable waterproof and rodent-proof receptacles, which shall be kept covered with tightly fitting lids. All garbage and refuse shall be regularly collected and disposed of in a sanitary manner.

    2.9.

    Storm drainage: All MH park shall provide an adequate storm drainage system to provide for proper runoff of storm water. At no time shall a drainage system be constructed so as to permit the freestanding of water; however, this shall not prohibit stormwater retention/detention facilities.

    2.10.

    Underskirting of MH's in MH park: Any MH placed in a MH park after adoption of this ordinance shall have a corrosive-resistant skirt extending from the bottom of the MH to the ground. Said skirt shall be provided with an access door measuring 18" × 24" or larger.

    2.11.

    Spaces numbered: Each MH space shall be identified by a permanent number, which shall not be changed. The appropriate number of each MH space must be permanent and visibly displayed. Each number shall be placed on a concrete, wood, metal, or any permanent post and conspicuously located on the lot, as approved by the planning director or designee.

    2.12.

    Miscellaneous provisions:

    2.12.1.

    Fire protection: The operator of a MH park is responsible for installing and maintaining adequate fire protection.

    2.12.2.

    Health regulations: All applicable regulations within the jurisdiction of the health department shall be complied with except where such regulations are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, in which case, the more restrictive provision shall apply.

    2.13.

    Revocation of MH park occupancy permit: The enforcement officer, after due notice, may suspend or revoke the right to occupy/operate any MH park for violating the provisions of this ordinance.
