§ 6-2. Designation of inspectors.

The fire marshal may detail members of his office who are certified by the North Carolina Code Qualification Board to conduct fire prevention inspections as required by law. The fire marshal is authorized to temporarily appoint emergency management personnel, fire chiefs and assistant fire chiefs as inspectors during incidents which are immediately dangerous to life and/or health.
