§ 5-9. Violations; penalties.

Unless otherwise provided for by law, it shall be a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of this chapter, or any proclamations, provisions of any emergency operations plan, or provisions of any standard operating procedures adopted or issued pursuant to the authority contained herein, or to willfully obstruct, hinder, or delay any member of the emergency services organization in the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter or any proclamations, provisions of any emergency operations plan, or provisions of any standard operating procedures adopted or issued thereunder.
