To prevent and abate the possibility of death or serious injury to our citizens and
to prevent and abate nuisances on public or private property, and to supervise, regulate
and prohibit in the interest of the public comfort, safety, convenience and welfare
of the citizens of the county, the board of commissioners has determined that it is
the best interest of the people, citizens and residents of the county and in the interest
of health, welfare, comfort, and safety, that this article prohibiting the discharge
of firearms within certain specified areas be enacted.
