§ 10-80. Screening.

Any junkyard lawfully in existence on the effective date of the ordinance from which this section derives which does not conform to the requirements for exceptions in section 10-79, and any other junkyard lawfully in existence which does not conform to the requirements for exceptions under section 10-79, shall be screened by appropriate plantings, fences or other appropriate means so as not to be visible from the main-traveled way of the public street, highway or public road or from the main-traveled way of the road at any season of the year. All junkyards lawfully in existence on the effective date of the ordinance from which this section derives, shall have a period of six months from the date of adoption of such ordinance to lawfully comply with the requirements of this section.
