§ 1-1. Authority and enactment clause.

By the authority of Chapter 153A, Article 18, Part 2 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the Board of County Commissioners of Carteret County does hereby exercise the powers and authority to regulate the subdivision of land within its jurisdiction. This ordinance shall invalidate and supersede all previous ordinances pertaining to the matters herein.
