  • 6.1.

It shall be unlawful for any person to offer for sale, lease, or rent one or more temporary recreational vehicle (RV) park spaces, except within an approved RV park.

    6.2.

No temporary RV park space may be created and/or developed without first obtaining a temporary RV space permit from the planning director or designee.

    6.3.

No such created and/or developed temporary RV park space may be used initially without first obtaining an approved building permit, fire safety review, and certificate of occupancy.

    6.4.

Each time that a temporary RV park space is not used at least once during any six month period, the electric meter (if any) must be pulled from the service panel as soon as practical and reasonable but not later than four weeks after the end of that six month period. No subsequent use of such temporary RV park spaces is permitted without first obtaining an approved building permit for the electric meter and fire safety review.

    6.5.

No temporary RV park space may be used more than two times per year or more than seven consecutive days either of those two times per year.

    6.6.

Each temporary RV space shall be maintained in compliance with the temporary RV space permit. In the event of violation of the permit or any provision of this ordinance, the planning director or designee may take action pursuant to Article VIII of this ordinance to remedy, correct, or abate the violation.

    6.7.

The planning director or designee may (after due notice and subject to the right of appeal) suspend or revoke the certificate of occupancy for failure to maintain the temporary spaces in compliance with the provisions of this ordinance. Except for the non-conforming provisions of this ordinance, the certificate of occupancy may be revoked for a specific section of the RV park that is in violation of a provision of this ordinance and occupancy may be allowed to continue in portions of the park that are in conformity with the certificate of occupancy.
